Our team was able to travel to Haiti October 16- 25, 2010 where we gave away school supplies to more than 1,000 school children in 7 different cities. We visited Les Cayes, Montrouis, Arcahaie, Cazale, Camp Perrin, Baraderes, and Port- au- Prince. We want to thank you for all the sacrifices you made. With your continued help, we will be able to make a big difference in the lives of many children in Haiti whose desire is to get a good education.
After many months of working tirelessly on the School Supplies for Haiti project, planning meetings, organizing a benefit concert and a car wash event, presenting Powerpoints to churches for support, making countless phone calls to potential donators, sending hundreds of emails, mailing many letters, and sending more than three hundred text messages, we were exhausted. Our team members walked many miles, rode donkeys, and hiked steep mountains so they could deliver school supplies to the neediest children living in the most remote areas of Haiti. However, we are thankful for how God has blessed us in reaching our goal of giving away school supplies to more than 1000 children in Haiti.
